| We welcome Olivia Armstrong to
our church membership who has found her way here through the call of
God, via her fine young groom, John. We are glad you're here! I want to offer my special thanks to K.J. Serrano, Gary DeCola, Dwayne Maguire, Jerry Lancaster and Kenny Cupples for their help with the Men's Pancake Breakfast this past weekend. It was great, men. After the breakfast a group of us went to Alameda to tour the USS Hornet aircraft carrier berthed there. If you can make the time, you ought to go see it. The Hornet is the second most decorated U.S. Naval warship in history. |

| I just spoke today with Kim Cunningham, Manager of Donor Relations and Stewardship
at California Baptist University and you will be pleased to know that
again this year, several more students will be helped by scholarship
funds originating with the ministry of Castlewood Baptist Church. Your
reach into the lives of people continues to bless those across a
spectrum of needs and vocations. How honored I am to be connected with
a church that possesses such a caring and giving legacy. |

| It
was a great day in worship Sunday as we honored first God and then
Country. Thank you Pastor Ron for speaking God's Word on this special
day. And we are so pleased to welcome Jessica Wharff to our Church Family. Having trusted Christ as her Lord and Savior she comes wanting to be baptized. Continue to pray for her and husband Michael as they await the birth of a their baby. |

| This continues to be a season of loss for many in our church family. On June 29, God unexpectedly (to us) called Marie Waterbury
home to Himself. Her Remembrance Service will be here on Thursday July,
8 at 11:00 am. Continue to remember Don and his family before the Lord. Dale and Joani also lost a father and father-in-law with the recent passing out of state of Bill Bolland. I know they, too, appreciate your love and prayers In a change from sadness to joy, we celebrate the birth of Maddison Anne Schmitt, June 29, to Kevin and Jennifer (and big brother Cameron!) arriving at a healthy 8 lbs., 2 oz. and 20 ½ inches long. We thank the Lord all are doing well. Our 6th Annual God and Country Day is this Sunday, July 4th. Come and share in a meaningful worship and patriotic celebration, with the Travis Air Base Honor Guard, a Brass Duet, and our guest preacher, Pastor Emeritus, Dr. Ronald A. Fullerton, Sr. Finally, for those of you who check in on us through the online listening link on our homepage, we are pleased to report that the addition of certain hardware and specific technical adjustments have wonderfully improved the quality of the audio signal to our online videos. We are grateful. |

| Clearly, God used our worship on Sunday morning to speak to hearts. We welcome Carolyn Barnett who made her decision to become a member of Castlewood Baptist Church, another fulfillment of the Scripture: But now God has placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired. 1 Corinthians 12:18 NASB There were two others who made responses to the Spirit during our invitation time. "Thank you , O Lord, for using us to touch lives." |

| Well, we still have some conflicts in the recording feed, but today we ordered a hum eliminator which should help. It will probably be a Sunday or two before it is in place, but at least we have a plan. BUT, MOST IMPORTANTLY...One
of our children here at Castlewood, Tabitha, asked Jesus to be her Lord
and Savior on Sunday with me at the end of the morning service! Glory
to Jesus! |

| We have been working on increasing the quality of the audio signal in
our online videos. There have been some compatibility issues with our
camcorder connections but we are making progress. We have been able
to improve the quality of the audio greatly beginning with the May 30
file, but as yet it is only a mono signal. That is why this recording
only comes to one speaker. We hope to have the signal to both speakers
in higher quality with the June 6 recording. |
