| Again,
God has moved and blessed with two coming on Sunday Worship and praying
to receive Christ, and another believer wanting Christian Baptism.
All three will be baptized next Sunday Morning! Continue to pray for Joe, Caelyn and Stephanie as they grow in Christ. Thank you my brothers and sisters in Jesus for sharing your faith, for praying for God to do good things among us and for being available to Him. Keep asking God to work in and through us. |

| As
God continues to bring guests our way for Sunday morning worship,
please remember to do two things: 1. Thank the Lord for entrusting us
with the opportunity to minister to others in His Name. 2. Let's all
make time to greet these new friends and neighbors. Remember,
"Reaching through Relationships" is not primarily a slogan. It is a way of living the Christian life. Thank you Tim and Duwandlyn Knight for hosting the Young Marrieds this Friday night for a relaxing Deli sandwich meal and then watching the movie, "Fireproof" together. We're looking forward to a nice evening for all. |

| It was great to have the newly-engaged fiancé of John Armstrong, Jr., Olivia Sinclair, with us for worship and fellowship on Sunday. We are already looking
forward to receiving this sweet and spiritual young woman into our
family of love. And the third annual "No Talent Night" was a lot of fun. Our people and their hidden talents continue to delight us. Thank you to Lori Maher for serving as our "Casting Director" this year. So many prepared and rehearsed and we thank you all for your effort. What a good day! Also, if you haven't peeked in the door to our Toddler's Room, try to get by there sometime. The remodeling is now fully complete and the place is transformed. Thank you, Cyndi Cupples, for your decorator's touch. |

| Sunday
morning Bible Studies followed by a worshipful Lord's Supper
Observance; thank you Deacons for your quality service to the Church. What a joy! The Toddler Room workers had 8 little ones during worship yesterday. God continues to use our people to reach and draw some young families. Keep telling and keep inviting! |

| Well,
after a wonderful worship service highlighted by Bethany's baptism, we
went out to Pennycook field for "Sooper Dooper Bowl I."
We had a fantastic turnout, great fun, and good food! And the game
itself was a "squeaker," determined only in the last moments of the
game. Yes, the Youth beat the Adults
in this inaugural game, but it was not a rout; they really had to earn
it. Thank you again to John Armstrong, Jr. for putting this together
and all who helped make our first contest a success. The numbers are out for the 2009 annual giving to our Baptist mission funding effort we call the Cooperative Program. You will be pleased to know that Castlewood Baptist Church ranked number 46 out of more than 2000 California churches. I heartily commend you for a job well done! |
